You can enjoy three home-style meals each day in our dining room and take part in as many of our social and recreational activities as you choose. Drawing on American Retirement Corporation's long experience, we have created Alzheimer's Care at Freedom Plaza to provide the most appropriate setting to nurture each resident physically, socially and emotionally. Through careful design and an experienced, professional staff, Alzheimer's Care at Freedom Plaza provides stimulation, stability, structure and security-all in a soothing environment that preserves the warmth, dignity, comfort and feeling of home. Thoughtful features such as "memory boxes" of personal photographs outside each apartment help residents find their way and hold on to precious memories. Meanwhile, in tailoring our services, we take the time to learn-and preserve-your loved one's time-honored routines and preferences. Homewood Residence offers nutritious, restaurant-style meals served by our trained wait staff, and our chefs are masters at creating traditional meal favorites plus a selection of fresh, flavorful dishes using low-sodium, heart-healthy cooking techniques.

We strive to offer our residents plenty of choices in their dining experience. They choose where to sit and what they want to eat. The dining room has extended hours for residents’ convenience.

Meals are prepared by our trained chefs, using only hand-selected produce, the freshest herbs and spices, and the freshest meat and seafood. Homewood Residence’s chefs will gladly cater special events, even preparing dishes from residents’ own recipes. A private dining room is available to entertain family and friends.

Resident comments and menu suggestions are reviewed daily and are used to tailor menu selections.
